Wine Description:

This Monogram TT selection is 100% composed of our finest Sangiovese grapes. Vinified with extended maceration on the skins, it is refined and aged for over a year. The color is a deep ruby red, with slight garnet reflections. The nose has pleasant hints of violets and berries, with slight spiciness of wood. This is a full-bodied wine, with mellow tannins and an elegant aftertaste. 

Perfect to accompany game and grilled red meats, it is recommended in combination with aged cheeses.

Grapes:

Sangiovese is the most cultivated black grape variety in Italy, with a vineyard area equal to 11% of the national total. Sangiovese is grown from Romagna to Campania and is the most widespread grape variety in Tuscany.

Sangiovese is part of the composition of many wines, some of which are well known such as Carmignano, Rosso Piceno, Rosso Conero, Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Morellino di Scansano, Sangiovese di Romagna , and many others.

"MONOGRAM TT" The new collection of Tenuta Torciano wines is born with the monogram TT, formed by the letters T and T in overlapping gold accompanied by other artistic motifs already present in the mosaics of the Siena Cathedral, the logo designed by Luciana Cilemmi in collaboration with Giulia Falciani, as a new brand to make the wines and products of the Tenuta Torciano winery recognizable, which in its 300 years has become one of the most recognizable wineries in the world.
