Vin Santo di Montepulciano DOC 2019: Dark amber yellow color in the glass, with deep golden hues. The olfactory bouquet is complex and articulated, composed of hints that recall honey, vanilla, dried fruit and caramel. The taste is sweet, soft, velvety and dense, well balanced between sugars and freshness, and with excellent persistence. Perfect in combination with dry pastries, such as pies or biscuits, and especially with the famous Tuscan cantucci. We also recommend tasting it with almonds, dark chocolate and dried figs. These flavors, in fact, recall the complex and enveloping fragrances that Vin Santo di Montepulciano gives to the palate.
Cabernet Sauvignon MMXX 2018: Produced exclusively with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. From the outset, this is one powerful, deeply expressive Cabernet Sauvignon with heady black currant, plum, and cedar aromas leading into a big, juicy entry. Layered currant and black cherry flavors are accented by elegant clove notes. Bold, coating tannins frame the entire wine, and hints of wet slate add dimension to dark, brooding finish. Ideal with grilled meat, structured first courses such as pappardelle with mushrooms or pasta with white meats ragù and medium-aged cheeses.
Passito IGT Toscana 2018: Sweet wine whose grapes are harvested in winter, once they are covered with gray mold. The refinement takes place initially in oak barriques and subsequently in the bottle. It is obtained from red and white grapes of Tuscany. Spicy bouquet, very pleasant and light in the mouth. Ideal in combination with dry pastries, especially with Tuscan cantucci biscuits with almonds, but you can also pair this wine with aged cheeses. Serve at 15° C (57 F).
