Tenuta Torciano produces Tuscan D.O.C.G. wines that signify true excellence, such as the Chianti Classico “Goldvine”. It is produced with carefully selected, handpicked Sangiovese grapes. Chianti Classico, as established by Italian Consorzio guidelines, has a minimum aging of 12 months. The color is a deep ruby red. Its aroma is intensely fruity, with pleasant scents of cherry and violet. The flavor is balanced between a dry tannic and velvety taste. Pairs beautifully with pasta dishes, savory meat sauces, poultry and grilled red meat.

This Nobile hails from the famed Montepulciano region of Tuscany, where our Sangiovese grapes – known as Prugnolo Gentile, in the region - are grown 250-350 meters above sea level. Combined with Canaiolo grapes, they are first aged for 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels, then subjected to bottle aging in the bottle for an additional 6 months. With further aging, it develops into an even more delicious meditation wine. This rich red has an intense taste and a large bouquet, making it suitable for a wide range of combinations. Its bouquet opens to wild fruit aromas with distinct mineral tones, which define and delineate the aromatic offering. The mouthfeel reveals good complexity, and color is a strong ruby, brilliant color tending to garnet with age.
